Want to be able to play a beautiful solo for a change? Which notes do I pick? How does it all work?

The approaches and concepts of improvisation are diverse, and there are many different options. In this workshop, I will give you an insight into what I consider important before focusing too much on scales, arpeggios, etc.

Think of it like learning a language: scales and technical terms are necessary—just like the written alphabet we need to learn in order to read and speak. Yet, there are many different paths to get there!

Together, we will explore 3 practical suggestions to crack the code:
1.     Getting Started: How to read, hear, and feel the musical form and structure.
2.     Learning the Melody: How to locate notes on your fretboard and break down a song.
3.     Creating Your Own Voice: How to build your very own musical motifs.

No matter your current playing level, this session will give you a fresh, intuitive path toward soloing.

Let’s bypass the theoretical overwhelm and find your musical path together!

Bring your ukulele, your ears, and your creativity!
